1. www.bermudarentals.com This comes from Jane and Betsy Barcroft. This site posts apartments and guest houses for rent that aren't advertised anywhere else. Some of them are right on the beach and this is one way you can live like "old Bermuda" and they are much more reasonable than the hotels. Posted 2-27-06

I recommend a guidebook to Bermuda by Rosemary Jones - "Bermuda" by Moon publishers. This book is written/compiled by a Bermudian and the information is very accurate. I bought my book at Davis-Kidd Booksellers but it's probably available other places as well. Also, I would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding a trip to Bermuda.
There are many good "vacation packages" available from a travel agent or on-line at Expedia or Travelocity...etc. Look for Hotel and Airfare packages.
Look through the Bermuda guidebook and choose a few hotels that look interesting to you and then go on-line to their websites for pricing. I have stayed at The Reefs and The Rosedon and would recommend either place. I have friends who stay regularly at Grotto Bay, Pompano Resort and the Fairmont Hamilton Princess and I love it there. I purchase my airline tickets online and prefer Delta Airlines but sometimes use US Air.
Most of the time when I travel to Bermuda I go through a rental agency and stay in apartments/private residences. I highly recommend the services of Bermuda Rentals www.bermudarentals.com Check out the website and call Fiona ( they have a toll free number) and ask for suggestions on where to stay. Tell her I gave you the information regarding her agency. Since 2002 I have been to Bermuda 20 times and have personally stayed in the following properties:; C-01, C-05, C-07, C14, C-19 and C48. Some of these places I've stayed at several times - all are great depending on how many there are in your group.
Bermuda is great for a group of people or for just one. I love traveling there alone but do enjoy the company of a varied number of family and friends . Look up the following website: www.scottcrousephotography.com/Bermuda for some awesome photographs of Bermuda
http://www.bermuda-online.org is an excellent site for information about Bermuda
www.bermuda.com is also a great resource for what's available in Bermuda, from hotels and dining to shopping and events calendar.
Enjoy! Jane Barcroft
