2 KAFB receiver site
Worked at Remote Receiver site located off base at Fort Victoria in St George. The Base Receivers had to be at a remote location to prevent the Base's Powerful Transmitters from interfering with reception. Photo is of fellow airman. |

3 Ft Victoria is just up from Gun Powder Tavern
The antennas of the receiver site are visable. Drive over the top and you go into a moat. Road is blocked by barriers today but you can park your bikes and walk the rest of the way. |

7 Achilles Bay
William Cummins lived in a house at top left. You should see this bay now. Crew from Cruise ships docked in St. George walk to this beach on their off days. There is a popular restaurant/Bar located here now. This Bay used to be called the St. Georges Hotel Beach. It is next to Ft. St. Catherine. . From Achilles Bay West you have Coot Pond Then Tobacco Bay. Thanks to Bob Oleander for this info. |
