Bermuda Poem

By  Sandie

There are days I cannot stand it,

If I could, I'd fly right there

To land on bright Bermuda's shores

And forget about my cares

The pink of sand beneath my feet

Sky and water the same hue

Sunsets, glorious wonderful sight!

Is it the same for you?

Do you remember when we danced

on waves of deepest blue

Or stood and watched the clouds roll in

Do you remember too?

Sometimes I ache with longing

For the times that were so sweet

And wish I were that girl again

With pink sand 'neath my feet.
